My little review of ForciumHosting.com

Sign-up process is simple and very fast. You just enter your details, confirm your e-mail account and in few minutes your hosting account is ready to use.

You can manage your account thru Cpanel control panel. It's important, that you can connect to your Cpanel via secure connection, so your passwords remain safe.

Server's control panel offers easy start-up wizard, that helps you to configure most important settings.
Panel is available in several languages.

They offer wide range of features, including, but not limited to web disk (works with Mac OS/Windows/Linux/BSD - allows to access your remote folders & files same way as local), access-log based statistics (three different programs are available), access to error logs (useful when debugging server-side scripts/ applications), auto responders (which can be useful when you're on vacation), powerful mailing lists (powered by Mailman, may be used for sending newsletters as well).

You also have access to web-based file manager, with some extra features like code & html editor or archive extraction utility (which is useful for uploading scripts - it's much faster to upload compressed archive & extract it on the server side).

They are also some nice anti-spam tools. BoxTrapper is whitelist based solution, forcing all new people writing to you prove they are legit senders, by replying to special verification e-mail. It's very efficient solution and it will stop 100% of spam. If you don't want to use such powerful solution, you can also enable SpamAssasin, that will catch/ delete most of the spam too. SPF & DomainKeys can be also configured (they are required if you don't want your mail to be marked as spam).

Another useful feature are Cron Jobs - task that run automatically. You can set up e.g. automatic e-mail that will be send every x minutes/ hours/ days/ weeks etc. Many more advanced server-side scripts require Cron, so this is really useful.

And there is also Fantastico, which is automatic script installer. Using this FANTASTICo tool you can get many popular server-side application installed in no time - want Joomla 1.5? OK, 10 seconds and your Joomla site is up! (no joke)

Of course it's not the full lists... there are many, many more features & settings that makes life of webmaster easier.

As for server speed, I'm really pleased with it... I've been using CPanel before, and it was slooow on my previous hosting provider. On this server, control panel and uploaded web sites are lighting fast. At the moment, I'm very happy about my ForciumHosting.com hosting account.

It sounds great if i can host my proxy sites on reseller account and can pay by e-gold, just a notice! your site is not working with www just with http

 

it is really a pleasure to try out the service. It uses c-panel 11 and provides huge selection of functions for most complicated website operation. Compare to other hosting provider, I feel admin page load very fast and smooth, it works like a charm. In the same price level, you can't get better deal than this. I plan to move majority of my domains to forciumhost since my current host suck all the time.

It is just perfect time for me to move to forciumhost!

After creating the account i almost directly got my registration details. In the email there was a link which gave me the opportunity to login to the cPanel. Once logged on i got the question to take a tutorial on how to use the cPanel. This is a nice and handy feature which can be accessed at all times.

After i read the getting started tutorial i looked at the Home page. There are many many things possible with this package, that's for sure. When i first saw the Home page i was overwelmed with the possibilities of this package. I am familiar with cPanel and webhosting, but this looks much more professional than my other hosting package. You can change everything you need to change.

Everything in the administration panel is organized and looks very clean. I could easily find my way around and upload a test site.

To make a simple test i decided to upload a website i once made to this host. It worked out of the box, only thing needed to change was the MySQL password.

After all i am very happy i decided to give this hosting package a try. It's well worth it.

 

I was set up very quickly and the hosting is really fast. Lots of space and bandwidth too!

Cpanel has every feature you need all included.

Yeah .flv video streaming is allowed but only for personal/private use or educational purposes. Youtube mass media streaming sites are prohibited.
