Good luck with that PM on the forum he'll just reply to as he did to me and ay the only way he'll talk with you about it is via live support on his site. lol which is one of the reasons i decided to get out.

Thats just great - could not even get a reply to my pm, his profile shows he logged on today so he could have easily read that pm i sent.

I dislike bagging out people publically on open forums but i dont see what other choice i have right now.

looks like im screwed and MediaTier has disapeared with my last hosting fee that was paid to get my sites transferred

i have recieved no emails from them in the last few days and have NO way of contacting them, below is a small snippet of my pm.

"I have been trying to contact you guys or support at MediaTier the last 24 hours and i have found no way - i stumbled across an old forcium hosting thread and saw your posts mentioning mediatier/Rickie......

I dont know what is happening but the Media Tier site is down, i cant find a contact email, i cant lodge a support ticket from my ac in the client area bcause every time i click on "submit ticket" it asks me to login with a diff username and password- although im already logged in to my client area and was never given another login/password. None of the support systems are working for me............

Been trying send this email for last few days"

All of it is honest and not making up any of it - none of the ways to contact MediaTier are working for me from my pc........... why would i make that up. The fact that their main site is down and says: "MediaTier Incorporated This website is temporarily closed"

I would cut my losses and move my sites to a new host but only have recent backups of one of my 3 sites to use and no way of accessing the files for the other two :(

Rickie/Gavin of MediaTier at least contact me to let me know whats happening

If u dont even bother to do that then am i to assume: MediaTier was just a scam or hoax and is gone forever?

Forcium and epiclayer were started by same person. Forcium was solved afaik.

    How do I know?
The epiclayer owner asked me how to create VPS, add IP Pools etc. through MSN(Though I helped him out). All this was under a MSN contact name as

    WTF!

MediaTier now merged with Rapid Host?

I have now been invoiced for a hosting plan to pay when i only just paid MediaTier when they took over forcium

This is crazy - repaying my hosting fee over and over again for 5% uptime since the change over :(

Nice to be notified, good professional communication guys............

MediaTier done a runner and left it to someone else again

Update on my situation after contacting Rapid-Host:

Apparently info for 3 out from 4 of my domains have been "LOST" in the process of transferring to different servers AND are basically not recoverable again.............

Thats two fully established sites lost there - all i can say is lucky they had not been set up for very long or had very valuable info stored as they would be looking at legal action. Explains why they were not contacting me.

Guess i have to start from stratch again or go find the nearest bridge to jump off :)

Anyone else who has not got there site working after > Forcium> MediaTier > Rapid Host changes has probably suffered the same fate as me :(

    Hello:

I don't normally post here, however through word of mouth I heard about this. To confirm that I am really who I claim to be my email is you can email me if you want to confirm this is a real statement.

I wasn't aware of these situations before I took over the shared hosting clients from Mediatier which consisted of Forcium accounts. I was aware that the accounts were indeed Forcium accounts, and that there were problems however I don't think even Mediatier knew the full extent of the situation.

This does explain a lot about why I have noticed a few people have sites that are not there, and I truely do feel for these people. Unfortunitally, Forcium did not utilize backups of their accounts, which makes it impossible for myself to recover these accounts that were lost before I took over for Mediatier.

Mediatier and Forcium were not the same company, I know because I spent many hours talking to the Mediatier guys to make sure. I was skeptical, however I came to the conclusion that it was not Forcium in disguise, and thus made my decision. Overall, the transfer has been many hours of work, for less than ideal results... buyer beware I suppose. However, I am committed to rectifying the problems that have plagued these accounts for the last month and try to provide a hosting experience that at least takes away some of the sting.

For those Forcium customers who are having trouble, I can not correct them if I don't know about them. I have provided all Forcium members with my personal email and msn to contact me if you have any concerns or problems. So far only 1 person has spoken with me, which is not a lot considering the amount of people here with apparent problems. If your site is not working right then submit a ticket, we have 24 hour support and normally we can get your site back up and running within the first hour if we have all the information we need.

To the person who mentioned about being invoiced, I believe if you check the date the invoice was for next month. We send out our invoices 15 days in advance. I am not sure of your domain so I can't confirm, however someone did mention this around the time you posted that post. As most of the Forcium account holders might have noticed, they haven't been invoiced for their hosting yet, today was the first day we started invoicing accounts since the merger even though nearly ALL the monthly accounts are past due. We made the decision not to invoice until we felt the sites were setup in a way that provided a stable environment.

Now to those accusing me of being a child of Forcium, please do your research or don't make statements on an assumption. It's not good business to slander people without being sure of what your saying. While I don't try to say that I am an industry leader for years. I have been in business for just under 4 years (a simple Whois on my domain can verify that), with a client base of around 200 customers.

Now, with that being said, I don't check this forum and probably never will again. So if you have a support question please contact me through email so we can resolve it. There is no benefit to posting in this forum about problems when I have provided 4 emails on my site that can actually result in a resolution.

    Regards,

    Steven Brencur

Maybe the owner should start giving out free hosting for 6 months or something to that effect...If they want to get their reputation back.
