Forcium hosting was apparently sold to another company?

I honestly don't think they really sold it, (my own opinion) I think it was a way for them to get back on the forum, and to try and get some more money out of their ex hosting clients as they sent emails to the old clients stating if they come back with the new management they could get 50% off..

I have been around long enough to see a scam But this is only my opinion take it as you wish..

But it does not all add up,

    Just my 2 cents

    probably not worth much:)

do a whois and the whois says it was last updated the day after it was created, so if it was sold don't you think the new owner would have updated the contact info..

    Status: clientTransferProhibited
    Updated Date: 02-apr-2008
    Creation Date: 01-apr-2008
    Expiration Date: 01-apr-2009

Jason, not exactly as most will not mess with the information since it will be to long of a hassle. but yes most companies that are bought out or sold will update their information accordingly to be up to date.

yes, they have been sold/bought out as we had a reseller account at one point to see if it was any good and we had to contact them regarding everything with our account through MSN...annoying.

we got an email from "Forcium Hosting" <billing@mediatier.net> which stated the following:
so you can see that they must have been bought/sold since they are asking for an account again..HA HA replied that in order to get our services they would have to really interst me.

    Yes you`re right.

Hehe but I have not lost my master reseller unlimited.
The new owner of forcium (mediatier.net) reactivated my account free of cost after I sent details of the transaction.

Let me Assure you Forcium hosting sold up, JasonT the old owner had the domain locked and it is proving difficult for him to get it unlocked, that is why we have set the redirection in place on the ForciumHosting.com domain trust me we are as annoyed as you are we have to keep chasing JasonT around just to get a domain unlocked its quite rediculous but as we said we can only try and rectify your accounts, any further problems or information needed feel free to contact us via live support, email support, ticket support or by phone.

    Regards Rickie Murphy.

Can't you just click the UNLOCK button? If you have access to the domain control panel then you should be able to. ;)

So basicly forcium was sold to a different company? And the new company is asking you guys to pay to be able to re-activated your account? :S

And then the old owners of Forciumhosting.com is starting Epiclayer.com? :S

    Hi Starmild,

You need to contact us we do not deal with customer care through a forum, use ticket system, Live Support, Email or via phone either is ok as we have staff to answer all methods,

    Regards Rickie Murphy.
