Forced to sell my baby, a next-gen gaming site.

Hello,

because of no available time and the urgent need for the cash, I am forced to sell my baby, a gaming site called SelectiveGamers (http://www.selectivegamers.com/).

SelectiveGamers is a next-gen gaming news/reviews site. You'll have materials and press releases coming in daily from PR companies, publishers and game makers. I have also received games and other products for review. So the connection with companies is there if you want to take it further.

Domain, PR, Alexa
The domain was bought in Nov '05, opened the site in February this year. PR4. Alexa 107 000.

Stats
For a site with absolutely no advertising, the stats have been pretty strong. Opening month recieved over 46k unique visitors, due to a popular Digg. Following months were slower but show consistent growth from 13K uniques in March to 44K uniques in June. Because I have not had time to update the site since July, the uniques have dropped. (stats)

There are A LOT of gamers out there who can revive and start updating the site for next to nothing or even free of charge. All you have to do is find some people from big gaming forums (xbox.com forums for example) and you're pretty much set, especially if you can spend some cash on advertising the site afterwards.

Site, forums
The site runs on Joomla with a 100% custom design made by myself. I have been asked several times to share the template but I have said no. So this design is totally unique.

The site also has a forum with 991 members, ~39 000 posts and 3 moderators. No paid posts or anything like that.

What you'll get

In the last 3 months when the site hasn't been updated at all, I still get 300-600 unique visitors daily!

Yeah, in the last two, non-updated months, total earnings are ~$80. And like stated in the first post, earnings since Feb are ~$600.

KalTek - It must be really hurting you inside having to sell your 'baby' - feel for you there.

Had a 2 minute ponder over the site - it looks fantastic but a whole load of work involved no doubt but I could see that by your forum activity alone you could perk up the rev. by whacking PPC such as Adsense on there np's.
