I keep asking here on this forum How is it that when i search on POKER on google i'll get tons of ads that display poker guide, poker here etc etc I thought gambling is forbidden at google, so how do these people get their ad displayed?
Gambling sites are forbidden there and Google will not allow a single site there with this kind of business there. What you are making confusion is that there is a lot of gaming sites that you play poker for fun not for money that request exceptions to have their ads there. also keywords like "bet" are not allowed so impossible to promote this kind of business with adwords.
Thnx for the reply, So if i understand it correctly, you can promote poker on google as long as the destination isn't a gamble page but let's say a practice page, fun game page etc I myself have created a landing page that discusses different poker rooms, but i offer no poker at all. Would i have a chance to get accepted by google if i contact them? and should i contact them through general support chat or another way. thnx
Yes, no problem. Just create the ad and go on. During the request exceptions just add a single phrase on request exception: "No Gambling related on landing page"
