Forbidden Error

    when i open my site it give me this error ? What the prob help me pls

    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access / on this server.

    Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Sounds like directory permissions to me.

    directory browsing disabled or no index page.

    change the folder permission to 755 nistead of 777

    error 403 has nothing to do with directory permission. and i don't understand why and why you'll set it to 777!

    the most common reason for this error is that directory browsing is forbidden for the Web site. Most Web sites want you to navigate using the URLs in the Web pages for that site. They do not often allow you to browse the file directory structure of the site.
