FOradio.com - Opinions needed.

Hi,


I recently bought FORadio.com with the design. I need these comments to be based on the working pages only, because I know "the chat box dosent work". It is work in progress. I was buying it to sell it on because I thought that £18 was a very cheap price to pay. But now I am considering hosting a station. Anyway, http://www.foradio.com is it.

Also, please say your favourite bit, whether it would be the formatting, domain, logo etc.

Nice logo design! (very fun) My suggestion is to change the white border around your text to black instead (it'll make the words more visible)

 

Yeah, I didn't think it looked quite right, I'll have a fiddle now, thanks

 

I had a go at changing it, but it didn't look right with black, thought we thought it would, instead I had a go at this.



Obviously that is just one, but maybe theres something there?

 

Hey - I think it looks great! The only thing I might suggest is making the yellow text for "Tune in Now" darker. Is quite hard to read.

The links could be slightly bigger and don't think the need to be underlined

Favourite aspect would be the simplicity of it and the "fun" theme!

The "Tune in Now" and all those links are under observation, as you can see is under construction, and I am still waiting to hear from people for their views on the new buttons I made.

As for the underlining links I have tried looking without the underline and it dosent look so good, you can't see them as well. I personally like how they are small, seeing as theres not much content on the page, so you do see more of what is there, rather than just glancing at a whole page.

As for the "fun theme", I hoped that people would bring this up, without me mentioning it because this is what I had in mind when I bought it.

Hi - Yeh... I see what you're saying. What about changing the colour of the text links? Start with black and the on rollover change to that light blue?? Not keen on that navy blue!

Hmm, thanks for the suggestion, again I have tried it and it dosent look the best, I like the like the text links as they are, but that dosent mean to say im not looking for further input from other people, after all that's what this thread is for.

 

Still looking for some opinion on the new buttons? Anyone?
