As one who seems to be becoming more professional at trial and error situations, I thought that someone else (Newbie) may at some time have a similar problem. PROBLEM; I had just finished building another page to add to my TRUCK SHOW entries from around the world. I was searching for a different style background to use so as not to let my site become boring to view. I found a pattern that interested me and was sized at 100px X 100px. I set it as my background (which worked on FRONT PAGE. The pattern was labeled as --- bg-2blues-background --- Everything went fine. I was pleased with the background display and never gave it a thought after seeing it on page. I loaded the colour title into the HTML uploading to my site. It looked really good on site. After completing all the attachments and fine tuning the photo links, etc. thought that my work was done. On Internet Explorer all was 100%. Just for the heck of it, I brought it up on Firefox, and then on Opera for a second opinion. Damn; no background colour on either browsers. It is a good thing for me that my head is like a rock, for after banging it on a brick wall for a time, it produced a brainstorm, (borderline cerebral aneurysm) Ha-ha. I looked at all the background entries in my HTML folder, and they were titled as background-colour etc. I renamed ( bg-2blues-background) to read (background-bg-2blues) and LO & BEHOLD, after reloading all the browsers, the background was displayed perfectly on all browsers. To you professionals at HTML, this may be nothing, but to an old retired trucker, it is a self made miracle. Ha-ha; should I add a HALILUIA? Take care, --- Diesel Gypsy.
