Hey guys, In case you're thinking of starting a blog, or are very new to blogging, I recently launched a project you might be interested in. It's a social network for bloggers that allows you to create a blog, just like blogger.com. And of course, it's completely free But besides the normal blog creating features, it has several others! For example, Seekopia will help you promote your blog by showing your posts on the homepage and tracking all your readers! And it also uses a unique revenue sharing system which you can read more about on the site I'm constantly working to improve its features and add more exciting blog features. So feel free to join and set up your blog, it's very easy to do! Otherwise, if you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll do my best to fix whatever you think needs changing/improving. Oh, the URL is www.seekopia.com Thanks Marc
Hi Enhu, In return for your contribution to your own blog, you are awarded with advertising space on each and every post (by all bloggers) on Seekopia. You can either put your Google Adsense ID for contextual advertising, or else upload your own custom ads (affiliate links, company links etc). Now to explain the potential of using Seekopia, I will use the Google Adsense example to explain: Say there are 100 bloggers (you being one of them) and you each add 1 post. This means there are a total of 100 posts on Seekopia. Now in theory this would mean you have a 1% advertising share of Seekopia (1/100). This would mean that out of those 100 posts, 1% of the times they load, your Google Adsense will load. This is in fact no better than if you owned your blog as 1% of 100 is 1, which is the same amount of posts you submitted! However, what will happen is that as the site grows, not everybody will upload their Google Adsense ID. If only 50% of those 100 bloggers do, that means that you in fact own a 2% share, since the advertising share is divided amongst 50 bloggers, rather than 100. This happens because the Google Adsense will appear even on posts made by bloggers who uploaded no Google Adsense ID. This effectively means your earnings are double what they would be if you had a individual blog with the same amount of content. Obviously, your advertising share also depends on how active you are and how well your posts are rated. This means that if you keep posting regularly, as other bloggers on the network stop posting, or slow down, you will be taking part of their advertising share. Your earnings can literally multiply. Sorry for the posts length - It's a bit tricky to explain. As a matter of fact, I need to see whether I can reword it to make it even easier to understand. Marc
