I have submitted my site in many diretories, article directories and also social bookmrking site. But Google shows my site have 0 backlinks. Can you guys explaine why?
Google is quite selective in counting the backlinks to the website. You can use the Yahoo! site explorer tool to see how many backlinks do you have
If you check backlinks using "link:site" command, it won't show all of your actual backlinks. Use google webmasters tool instead.
It won't show as backlinks until search engines have indexed your submissions. So, it's not a matter of how much you submit.
Have patience and your links would start showing up soon. Do you see any links in google webmaster tools?
hi friend just check your back link in backlinkwatch.com i thing u have a back link or use good PR site to submit your site and dont use copy right content in your web site.
first submit your links to only do follow directories and 2ndly use google webmaster tools to check out the backlinks. it may take a while though to get your baclinks indexed.
I agree... Yahoo! Site Explorer will give you the fastest, most complete results. You can find it below: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ Checking your links in Google is pointless because they do not disclose all of the links pointing to websites. Hope this helps, Neil
What everyone is saying is right. Patience and Yahoo is what you need. You could also try the trial version of advanced link manager. This will give you an accurate list of all of your links, if they are no follow and put them in a nice report for you. you can also run reports on your competitors too and see who is linking back to them
Google show only 2-3 % backlinks. you can check ur all backlinks by backlinkwatch.com, Google show backlinks of selective websites.
