    Maybe you can do something more with this site.. I bought the domain not too long ago and let it sit until less than a month ago. I've got it up and running now but haven't spent any time trying to promote it.. I've made a few cents through adsense on it, but it is getting very little traffic.

    The script is only working in IE right now (it creates VML images that are only compatible with IE).

    I was wanting to set up some sort of voting type community where people could submit art of different sorts and let people vote on them.

    The domain is through go-daddy and the content is PHP (no database) and is hosted through a free hosting service with cpanel.

    Let me know if you are interested in buying or trading...

    If nothing else, maybe you could go draw a picture on the site.

    Oh.. The domain is a couple months from expiration so if I don't sell it, I'm going to have to renew the domain and actually try to do something more with the site.

    If people want to start bidding on it.. I'll set up an auction with an end date. I wouldn't consider getting rid of it for less than $40 or a compatible trade (figure I'd tinker around with it a bit before I got rid of it for anything less).

    Also for what it's worth.. This is a 9 month old domain (although it sat parked until about a month ago).

    dnscoop estimated a value for it at $2,122 (as of the time of this posting).

    The estimated value of http://www.artistsarea.com is: $2,122.

    (take that for what it's worth)

    I think dnscoop is usually way off, and I'm not just saying that to get your site cheaper. I have the domain pic7.com which dnscoop says is worth $36000 I think, but another online estimator says it's only $1600 and a GoDaddy appraisal says it's worth about $600.

    artistarea.com - that's artist area (without the extra s on artist) is said to be only worth $600 at dnscoop, which just has to be wrong, it's one letter shorter, has been around for 6 and a half years, and has a PR of 3. It's a very odd device I think.
