Okay I can't post the URL because its DMOZ listed and I'll take any red rep for it if it is to come with it.

I bought it off the original owner for quite a bit at the beginning of the year, because i tought it would be a good project for me to work on. However, I won't have time to work on it because I'm focusing on my main site right now and investing any money I get into it.

That being said, I'll go on the conditions of the sale:

There is 15 links. Yes 15 yearly links that you won't be able to take off until late January, early February next year. These links are all family friendly and have been sold on a yearly basis.

Now I'll go to how i made the profit:

15 yearly links made $928 USD. Some at $82/year some at $62/year. I realize you wont be able to make this profit until 10 months pass though.

I have 5 links from $10 to $12 a month. This adds to $50 monthly. (ok actually 2 guys signed up for 3 month terms and they end in a month and a week or so)

YPN Makes from $22 to $30 a month. Last month was $22. Some days are as high as $2 some as low as $0.20 cents. I'm sure google would do better I just wanted to get my $100 payout on Yahoo, i was so close.

So the amount you can be making is $30+$50 links, $80 monthly. Based on this I'll have the starting bid set at:

$800 (monthly profit x10)
I'll have bin set to what you will start making next year after all the yearly links expire, plus the WoW factor cause of all the info you can find out below...

Now that has been said I'll go on in detail about the site, so you can decide if its worth it or not....

The site is a halo fansite that has been up since 05-feb-2003. The site is old and that adds to the value of the site. You could easily rank for Halo 3 with some weight... This would mean a great source of traffic, Halo is very popular. I do not have the weight to do this or I would...

The site has a database with around 30,000 forum posts. The old forums were hacked so i translated all the old backup posts to PHPBB. The old owner could never be bothered to fix the forum so it lost all the activity. The new forum got a few old members back but it needs that spark again. You can still access the old IPBB forums with the backed up posts as well if you wanna work with that.

If the buyer is a person with good reputation on DP ill accept PayPal for payment.

I think some site's dmoz link got erased and now everyone is scared of posting URL for a site with dmoz listed because "it might get removed".

Ok, im very interested in this, firslty, my competitor is listed in DMOZ, and so was i till some fuka pulled me out to 'keep me in my place' in google, as a result my business is barley on page 1, used to be number 1!!

im guessin SEO comp he hired screwed me over.....
