Exact google searches in May 2007 for term.
    [NATTY LITE]
    no data

    [natty light]
    750

Please justify your price as it seems most users search for "natty light" and not "natty lite".

Justify what price? , if you have an offer make it.

"Natty Lite" search results 75,000 (5 min ago), and you will find all kind a entries about "Natty Light" even a you tube video of a "Natty Lite" song.

Since when has anyone selling anything, in the history of the world been told to justify the price they want for their property.
Are you nuts, or do you really not know anything about business or the web?
Why do you insist on making dumb statements on my sell threads?
    Justify the price?
I own it, and I'll sell it for what ever I want to sell it for. Hows that?

He's saying the amount of people who actually go to Google and search that term, not how many web pages Google has indexed that contain the phrase.

    Meaning:

    * 0 people search for "Natty Lite" per month
    * 750 people search for "Natty Light" per month

I'll start the bidding off at $5 if you like.

Oh, I wasn't really selling based on that. I know its one of those domains that I kinda figured it would be good for a college students blog, or something like that.
It is definitely a personal thing. "Natty lite" , at least from my experience has always been one of those beers you joke about, but everyone drank it in college because it was cheap.lol

Starting bid of $5 from "Sweet Funny", and I guess we'll start with that and see where it goes, thank you

Results 1 - 10 of about 6,140 for "natty lite"
You have to use quotes when referencing number of pages indexed in Google.

So, there arent 75,00 pages, there are just over 6,000.

OK. But it is still sort of a "specialty domain" in that, I don't expect anyone to buy it because they are looking for "numbers" and "Serp's".
If anyone buys it, it will be because they just like the domain, based on what ever experiences, or feeling they have for what it means or stands for.

People buy for a variety of reasons, so what ever your particular motivations are, really don't apply.
This is just what YOU are looking for, and it really has no place, nor is it relevant to this for sale thread.

Is there something about me, even though you don't know me that makes you continually force your opinions and buying habits on my for sale threads? You are not the barometer of the domain market, or DP, and it's obvious that you only have a limited and one track method of doing "business."

I don't have a portfolio that goes back to 1996 because I am a hack. I know exactly what everything is, what it is worth on the open market, the type ins, and serps that it gets or has gotten over the time period that I have owned or registered it.(Years) Market rates, monthly sales statistics, and prices, most type ins, mis types, and traffic monitoring for search results all over the internet (world), and potential based on consumer, and economic indicators.

This is my business. It's not "Hit or Miss", it is an exact science. I have domains because they have proven to be worth keeping based on those parameters, and more. and the ones that don't meet those concrete expectations, are dropped. Which is why I don't have any $20 domains.
This one is an exception, it was registered because it was "Cute" and nostalgic, but it still has a purpose in my portfolio.
This is just one of the "Fun" ones that I thought I would put up to see if there was interest.
So relax, and get off my back drig.

Exactly what I would expect from a Buckeye.
    GO BLUE!!

I'm just trying to understand your though behind your price. Also just trying to point out that the number of search results are inaccurate. And whoever said I was a buckeye? I actually live in Detroit (during the summer) :)

PS: Ok, I'm a buckeye (fan). Officially I'm a rocket.

drig, I'm from Detroit too! Grew up on 6 mile and Livernois.

Why do you keep messing with my threads?

Every domain sale is not about the search results. Most are. But there are a hundred reasons why people buy domains, and you keep picking on me about just one of them. I never mentioned anything about search results, popularity, revenue, or anything.
Don't you follow any Domains business at all outside of Digital Point? This is not the entire industry, and quite frankly most sales don't follow the parameters that have become normal around here, (10 months revenue, and such).

Can I offer up a domain for sale just one time, without your opinion of it's value? I am almost positive, I have been doing this longer than you. I still have domains from Network Solutions, back when they were the only registrar IN THE WORLD!

Can you go back that far? or is Go Daddy, your daddy?

Im VERY intune with the domain - and general web - market (especially seo). I was referring to ""Natty Lite" search results 75,000 (5 min ago)" and that for an accurate measure you need to search "natty lite" not natty lite. None the less, best of luck with the sale. I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything like that, just trying to understand your method and see if I'm missing anything. Im going to step out of this thread, but I didn't mean to offend you or anything like that, just trying to learn your pricing. Again, best of luck!

PS: If I had similiar comments on similar threads of yours it was unintentional.

I don't even have a price listed! I just want to see what it's worth to someone, and I will probably sell it for what ever.
    That's all.
This one has no method, it's just "Natty Lite" that's it.
No numbers to boast, some people are going to think it's cool, and others will not know what the hell "Natty Lite" is, or care.

Yep I would like to see a couple of hundred for it, but I'm not an idiot, it's a specific domain. I could probably go to any campus in the midwest and get $300 + for it, but I don"t have that kind of time.
    Just keeping it simple:
"Hey I registered "Natty Lite" a few years ago, and it's for sale"
    Any takers?
That's it. It can't be any simpler.
