    Truly a dying art and business here in the good old USA.

    As in, shoe repair shop....
    You know, bring in your shoes, the cobble them (new soles, etc).

    With shoes so cheap, most times cheaper to trash them than to get them fixed.

    I knew lots of men (and a few women) who had the same pair of cowboy boots their entire life...just kept going to a good boot repair shop and getting new soles and heels...have the rest cleaned, etc.
