Rest assured that I'm not fabricating my earnings. If I was, I wouldn't be openly telling people here that I have yet to reach $100 per day.

I had no choice but to utilize MySpace at the beginning.

I'm new to the SEO thing, so I had to do something to generate traffic. I'm getting better at SEO as of late because a lot of the keywords that I'm targeting are ranking pretty well.

I still do MySpace, though, because it's been so effective. I'm at about 10% of my potential on MySpace right now. That means that by the time I reach the rest of the people on there, my website traffic should be even better.

Hopefully, that also means an increase in earnings.

I'm currently getting about 50% from Google. The rest comes from referrals.

Natural search is improving day-by-day like yours but it's a slooooow process :)

8k uniques per day is very good tho - you shouldn't have any trouble monetizing that... Check that you've got a competitive deal on your hosting/bandwidth - that could be key to turning a profit.

Good luck, never give up. Keep on Fighting! :)

Well, I once got 0 - 6,000 hits in a matter of days. It fluked because it was one of those "the more of our sites you visit the more traffic you get" type of things. I learned my lesson from those sites, I gives you worthless traffic and it pisses Google off. Try to play by the rules and be very secretive about it when you don't:D

When you say that you get that much traffic from competitive sites, how are you doing it?

As long as they are competitive, are they writing about your website or are they just linking to your website? Or why are competitive websites sending you that much traffic?

    Thanks

In most cases there is only this much traffic you can generate from your niche even if you own in both search engines and other referrers. Especially when you are in the narrow niche. So you can either expand or start developing another niche.
