For mirro web sites: subdomains or domains?

    I am looking to create mirror web sites for my business network when it will gets busy.

    Is it better to use subdomains or simply use new domains such .co.uk, fr, etc.?

    Well, currently for my mirror I just use a different TLD so their DNS entry can be independent from each other.

    If you use subdomains, all the sites would need to be using the same DNS Server and if that goes down, every one of your site would be inaccessible.
