What do you guys prefer for the landing page? .com or .info domain?

.info is more affordable but .com sounds more professional and Google tends to rank high .com domain.

What are you guys using for you landing page? Share us your experience here. thanks!

I prefer .com. because .com is more expensive, so more valuable.

    Always, always, always .com!

.info screams "SCAM" and "CHEAP" from 10 miles away. You want your visitors to respect you and to accept you as an authority. Buliding your LPs on .info sites only shows you off as being cheap.

.com seems more professional while .info seems cheap, and though .info is more affordable, .com will worth u a lot

A .info is okay for a forwarding domain, without masking.
If you want visitors to stay, and then come back, choose only .com, .net or .org.

    I can't handle .info

Only things I end up happy with are the .com's and anytime I end up buying something different I regret the purchase.

If the domain name.com that you want isn't available try and locate an alternate version of it versus getting a secondary or in my opinion lower level domain extension.

depends on your niche, remember if your selling to preganant mums then they have no idea about the TLD and how much they cost or whats better, but if your targeting the IM / MMO niche then peolpe think you are cheap and nasty.

I like using .info for PPC as they are a cheap way to get around the double serving rule, but .info are harder to rank SERPS organically..

so if doing SEO use a .com or .org.

Depends... on a mass scale if you'd like to save quite a lot of money...

    (I'm talking 100s) Definitely infos!

But if you've only got a few key landing pages that you're focusing on and you're
going to be sending lots of traffic get the .com...

Branding wise, and for the sense of professionalism you can't go wrong with a .com!

Use .info if you're doing a lot of testing because .com's are expensive. But once you got down whats working its better to choose a .com
