6 kids? Dear god, man! My wife wants 4. I told her that after 2 kids, I'm getting a vasectomy. I think about the cost of putting 4 kids through college in the U.S, and my blood pressure sky rockets.

4 years tuition at a private college in 2006 = ~$100,000 to $160,000
x4 kids = $400,000 to $640,000

With inflation, etc, I can't even imagine what a 4 year education will cost in 20 years.

Public universities are more reasonable, but it's a lot of dough no matter what.

With those money i can educate a whole neighboorhod of kids (roughly 500-1000 kids) for 20 years, in Romania.

 

Now that is just.... scary.....
