So say 1 blog updates once a day, and another blog updates 15 times a day, will Google check them both at the same time, or the more updated one more often?
I think it depends on other factors... how relevant the blog is, etc if you have a really relevant site that changes alot, googlebot will practically live there (by relevant I mean in google's eyes, such as respected site) I have seen sites that update 100 times in a day and google only comes once a day or two, but others I have seen googlebot come many times a day
My site www.yiwu-sourcing-agent.com ,I updata one or two a day,and G's bot come every day at the same time.
yes. if you are a well respected site and you update frequently you will be loved by Google. Once Google gets a good idea of how often you update your site and on what days, it will begin to schedule its trips back to your site. Over time, this will give you a good barometer to measure just how much you need to update your site.
Well I can tell you, from my previous experience with blogs, that google will visit you site daily and every time you post something. Sometimes i'm looking at my stats and I feel like my sites got married with google bot.
Yes and No. If Google already knows you're updating regularly, then they will check your site constantly, regardless of updates. If Google knows nothing about your site, then it will only be checked when Google comes across a linkback to your site from some other site. BUT this can all be done away with if you PING your blog using something like pingomatic or pingoat - doing that will have google check your blog every time you post. Most blog platforms automatically ping your site for you after posting, so there's nothing too much to worry about.
Yeah, BradSommers.com said it clean and straight. Thats exactly how it works. If its a newer blog, then you need to keep getting links from other sites for google to hit on and come to ur site. Once your site is partially indexed, then pinging google would invite the bot to reindex what they know about you and update.
