Thats easy to get around you simply get a modder to program a bot or macro to check your emails for you and click on the verifcations for you.
It was just a matter of time, wonder if it had anything to do with the release of this program: http://www.spacepromoter.com/theindex.htm It will make it harder, but it isn't going to stop much. It is about time, the reasoning behind not having it doesn't make sense, i.e. myspace users are too stupid to check their junk box or click a verification link.
I noticed this a few weeks ago on a couple accounts. Not too hard to get a free valid email address though and click a link
