Ok for a school competition, I have to walk out on stage in a bathing suit. So, because I want to be funny and interesting, I was thinking of walking out to Milkshake by Kelis (I know it's a horrible song). But that didn't fly with the director. Does anyone know any songs similar to that or that would be really funny if I walked out to it. I can do whatever I want. I just need ideas of how to spice up the walk a little bit and make it funny. The only thing I cannot do is strip on stage. But I want to have a song and do something on stage that no one expects...
For a laugh I'd use the the old 'Grove Amarda track - I see you baby (shakin that ass)'. Although the beat is a bit messy at the begining so I wouldn't walk on stage untill the women starts singing. I bet there are loads of good trakes out there. Must admit you have more confidence than I did when I was at school, I'd do anything to get out of swimming comps so I didn't have to walk around in swimming costume in front of all the lads - eek, horrible memories lol. If you don't get many replies I have just thought the bit where your at school and wereing a bathing suit may put people off just in case they look like a weirdo. Good luck with the comp. Angie
