For all adversal users/publishers

    Hello people,

I noticed a big fuss around here about Adversal and their high-payed popunders. What makes you use the popunders? Just because of the cash? (This is not against Adversal, but vs popunders/popups in general).

How do you think your users will react if a pop-under would load on each and every ONE of their click? I'm sure I would be really pissed off, and no matter how useful/good the site, I would quit using it. If you were a user, how would you react?

Popunders may payout good, but I think with them you are losing more returning visitors with each and every click. Is it worth it? Losing the users/increasing the cashflow? And it's only temporary, cuz if users don't feel right about your site, and don't want to continue browsing it, you will probably start losing money...

And I've seen some1 here, stating that he wants to add pop-unders to his forum. A user on a forum will click on many different categories, topics, posts, or whatnot. Don't you think you are making them never want to come back again, if they have a window open on each topic viewed?

Just wanted to hear back from you guys. I am thinking (big dilema) if I should add some adversal popunders, but I'm afraid of what I stated here. Not gaining that much money after a while because of loss of traffic.

    Feel free to express yourself.

Actually adversal pop-ups don't load on every page, I'm not sure of the exact ratio though.

They say, it loads on every page view. So it means on all pages, no?

Well I can't comment on adversal pop-unders, but I think pop-unders do have a place in revenue generation when used correctly and intelligently. Pop-unders aren't a way to get rich quick, like some webmasters tend to think. However they are some of the best paying ad mediums available to publishers. Most tend to payout around $4+ per thousand views. Compare that to a CPM of around $0.30-$1.00 for banners and you'll see why they are tempting.

You need to be VERY restrictive on the type of ads you allow and limited it to one pop-under per visit. It's definitely not a good idea to overwhelm the visitor with pop-unders. If you have good and unique content/service, most visitors won't mind one pop-under every now and again. Anything more than that and you will definitely drive them away.
