We already know about Facebook, Twitter, etc. What are some ways that are less well known? Perhaps they are popular in your English speaking country?
Good question. It can be nice to mix things up a bit and add variety to the standard methods to market content. One method you could try is content repurposing, i.e. using your existing content in a different format or for a different audience. For example, say you have some blog posts full of interesting facts and figures. You can repurpose this content as an infographic, helping to reach more people and prolong the life of existing content. Or guest post on other sites which is also a good way to reach new customers. Another idea is a Facebook messenger campaign. Neil Patel described in his blog post how he got 88% open rates and 55% click through rates from a simple Facebook Messenger campaign, using “bots”. These stats show that Messenger campaigns have powerful potential. I’d suggest widening the list of social media websites you use for marketing. While Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook are obvious choices that you shouldn’t neglect, there is potential in other sites (depending on your market): Snapchat has 178 million daily active users, suggesting huge opportunities for marketing. You can use Snapchat stories, for example, to communicate with your audience via video marketing. Pinterest has 200 million monthly active users, and is a great platform for marketing image content. With both of these platforms, set yourself apart by being professional in your presentation. You have a good business message to convey, present it that way. Lastly, perhaps consider participating in a podcast. Regardless of your industry, there is a very high chance that a podcast exists which is related to that industry. Reach out to podcasts and ask if you can discuss an important topic. You’ll get great publicity and a chance to market your product/service. And if you have the reach, you can start a podcast yourself if that is a direction you want to take. For additional marketing tools and ideas you can check out the Sales and Marketing Stack.
Maybe Vlog and apps are little known these days. You can live chat and tell about your products to world. There are lots of apps for this!
Quora! Quora is really great for getting traffic to your site. Just provide value in your answer and then drop your link when it's relevant. Quora was the largest source of traffic on my old site.
Messengers are growing very fast right now. In the nearest future it will be one of the best channels where you can post your marketing content. However, it shouldn`t be just spam messages to tons of people, but an interesting channel with info and special proposals.
Reddit is old now. Quora is good when it comes to content quality so that's a yes. And also try Linkedin Content Publishing Platform.
Instagram DM's. Gary V talks about them all the time. They go directly to them and most people check them unless they are a big celeb.
Instagram, LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit, Facebook Messenger, Email Marketing, Pinterest, Snapchat. There are many ways to market and direct more traffic to your site with the above-mentioned options.
