I am cautious about adding a "Tips Forum" within the overall footie based forum (phpbb).

I do not want to encourage gambling, but inevitably people like to discuss backing their favourite football teams to win etc, horses they have backed etc.

Has anyone got a direct email addy for google adsense? I dont want to use the abuse@ one as it makes me feel guilty before I have even asked the question.

I have not added it yet as I would prefer confirmation from google adsense before adding incase it breaks their rules.

Cheers Country Boy. I will email google and see what they have to say and let the forum know whether they mind or not. :)

At this time, publishers may not display AdSense ads on pages which link to or direct traffic to online gambling sites.
If you believe that your users may post this type of content on your forum,
I'd recommend refraining from placing your ads on these pages.

So if someone was to say "you can back England to win at 5/4 and name the bookmaker, one could assume that could be interpreted as directing traffic to the site where you can place a bet.

On that basis, a dedicated gambling or tips forum would go against adsense rules, so I wont be having such a forum.

    My bold.
That's a really good find because I bet, no pun intended, that there's quite a few AdSense publishers who think it's okay to link to gambling sites as long as they don't have their own gambling related content.
    Rep to you.
