Footer links - Google Ban

    Is it illegal to have links in the bottom of a site that are close but not the same color? It is visible by the naked eye. Will the site get banned?

    No, I don't think they will ban you for that.
    Try to keep reasonable the number of outbound links anyway.

    Alot of sites, including some of the big authority sites have links in the footer. It should be ok as long as they are readable and not hidden or distorted in any way.

    You can have links at footer, just keep in mind it should not be look like as a hidden links...
