I recently updated the homepage of the site as well as changing the theme of the blog. Check it out and give me your thoughts. http://www.pubpundit.com
I like it's simplicity, it's easy to navigate with not a lot of distractions. But you should try to monetize it somehow once you get more traffic rolling to your site. But great work, I like the layout.
Well I'd recommend you get some steady traffic to your site first before anything else. After you get some decent traffic coming in daily, you could start monetizing. But, it's your choice overall, just a suggestion. There's tons of ways to monetize, the worst way would be Google Adsense, but it would be a start you know, money is money am I right? Since you kinda split your football and hot chicks which is a good thing, now you can separately put banner ads. You know like on the football section you could have banners with your affiliate link advertising "How to be a pro footballer" or something, try checking out clickbank they might have something there about football or getting fit and healthy. Then for the hot chicks, you could just put some banners on the side for products like "How to get your Ex Back", or "Some dating guide", again you can check clickbank for that. And then on the main blog you could put some banner ads there too, maybe a mix of both. Or once you get enough traffic you could have people advertise on your site with their banner on there while they pay you a certain amount of money every month to keep it up there. Another way would be to have a kind of auto content locker for your hot chicks section, so when they try to go to the gallery or something, just when they are about to click the pictures, the content locks and the only way they can look at the pics is they have to fill out certain offers like surveys or email submits or zip code submits, etc... And you get paid per offer that gets filled out, usually around $1-$3. I don't know if you know what they're called, but they're called CPA Networks or cost per action, where you get paid for someone doing an action like filling in their email address or doing a survey. A CPA Network that offers content locking would be CPAlead. You could try content locking your football videos, but I'm not sure if it would work well or not.
i think this site is a little bit chaotic and i dont see how you make money from this. If you are not doing this for money why do you post articles and photos that are quite useless?
