    If you don't have broadcasting right then ya it's illegal AFAIK .

    Most of these sites simply provide links to the sites that do the actual streaming; they do not do any streaming themselves.

    Most people on the internet aren't exactly able to search and get the streams they require, which is where these sites step in.

    Most of them are illegal...they show streams from other websites!!!

    Same as any form of website.

    If you own the copyright = legal
    If you have permission from the copyright owner = legal
    If you have neither = breach of copyright & potential law suite
