Just bought this off a dp member, I have made a few changes and would like your advice. www.fcForums.com - The football forums
It's very spartan. Too much white. You might want to replace those soccer balls with the flags/colors of the individual teams.
although there is a bit going on there it still does seem a bit blank, i'd agree with there being too much white
excellent combinig (white, gray, blue) i like it(although the big white space) P.S: soccer in europe, Africa and Latin America is more powerfull so please add forums about teams from real soccer countries and FIFA
I don't want to add too many teams at the moment as it will be even more blank(not enough members). I will add leagues and teams gradually. I added the english championship (1st div) and Major League Soccer teams today. when you say white do you mean at the top of the page(the header) close to the logo? what do you suggest I do to get rid of the white space? image or colour it?
phpbb logo? I don't see any phpbb logo on it. Press F5 to refresh your computer. thats the logo I have on. Are you seeing something different. maybe you are over riding to a different style template or something.
forum is cool. white is good. in the left football is good for intro......chat........feedback but in the team forums like arsenal etc. put their logo
i like the design, simple very cool one, keep it as it is, lots of football fans shd be there for sure, its very clean, a good logo , only issue is lot of topics are there making the user scroll down, cut down on topics initially later on increase them
you aren't allowed to use team badges/logos without premission of the club. forumrating How would you suggest to reduce the topics? thanks for signing up by the way when I tried to add to your site I got a php error.
Looks not bad but I think you have way too many boards for the amount of activity you have going on and it will be difficult to improve things with that set up. I would personally get rid of all the team boards and maybe concentrate on one or two general boards, get them active then expand. The soccer part of my forum isn't exactly buzzing and is therefore kept to a single board, www.expertbettingadvice.co.uk/forum You should see things pick up with the World Cup.
Looks okay, i'll sign up and add a post or two. I'm just starting a cricket forum, www.countycricketclubs.co.uk, its hard work to start a forum and get posters.
