1 - 0 for England (but it may end a draw)

For me the match that is crucial for my is my own country

Romania - Netherlands hope we win :)

I hope 3-2 for England but also that they steal it, visibly and with no doubt!

As long as they qualify but at the same time hopefully McLaren will be sacked.

And it would serve him right!

I don't think he's good enough, nor that he can deal with the players well enough at that level.

Also, he should NOT have dropped Beckham so fast!

So who wants Steve McLaren still in place?

Or is it just bad luck and we should keep him until out of the EU champ's for good?

Dam the final score was 0-0. Thats an incredibly poor result for England who needed a win to have a chance of qualifying for Euro.

I think this goes to highlight Steve McLaren's hesitancy as a Manager. And I do think it was stupid to lay off Beckham immediately. He's still got class, just because he's a tad older than Aaron Lennon, doesn't mean that he hasn't got experience in the international arena.

For me, none of our players played particularly well - even Gerrard. Hmmm, English sport just keeps getting worse...;(

No, it's not English sport, it's the England manager!

I think that England can afford to replace him, but they have to act fast or loose a lot more than his wages, such as qualification for EU.

I would have predicted a 0-0 or 1-0 to england if I saw this thread :p Yet another boring and poor display. I would like to see Beckham still involved when he's fit, try him back on the right instead of Gerrard, keep Lennon on the left for now as well.

Last night I think Gerrard should have come off for Downing and then Lennon should have switched to the right, the team didn't seem too balanced at all.

I only saw recorded highlights, but it looked a poor show by England. Where is the passion and desire to win? They have it for their clubs but not for England it seems.

OK, when we hired McLaren i was like ok he seems to know what hes doing and has been already in the England set up so there shouldnt be a problem.

Now he got off to a good start but its all falling apart. A team like England (where im from) should not be drawing with Israel (even though they have improved alot). We should be winning world cups, euro etc regularly but we have only won it once.

Theres a simple solution : Drop lampard (he cant play with Gerrard, all he does is wants to shoot - and he isnt really that good). Keep the 4-4-2 (play Hargreaves with Gerrard.)

There is a possibility we should bring Beckham back into the setup but under McLaren he wont return (unless the FA tell him to) becuase, of the rumours the players were jealous of his superstar status.
