I am selling this site because it was a hobby I started a number of months ago but a hobby which I have now fulfilled. I am willing to sell should the right offer be received. All traffic stats posted are on the basis of the last six months and have been averaged out.

The site uses a paid-for 'Gabfire' Wordpress theme. You can look this company up. The site also makes use of various plugins. Their themes are pretty awesome and their support is even better. The site has a unique logo.

Everything is optimised. A page is set up detailing instructions for how users should post articles, find images etc which I send to new writers. There's also a page which advertises for new writers. The only work required is approving applications, making them a site author and sending instructions on how to post.

A brilliant domain name. I originally paid $150 for the domain (a bargain I think).

    282 unique articles.

188 voluntary authors. Not all of these have posted articles and not all post articles regularly. But many have posted at least one article and there are certain writers who posts articles regularly. All on a voluntary basis. I recruit these writers by way of Google Adwords. There are free ways to recruit writers which I can reveal - but I found it easy just to use Adwords. Other authors contact the site via a 'write for us' page where they can apply to be a writer.

Facebook account with 118 likes. Containing unique header and icon graphics. https://www.facebook.com/footballrants

Twitter account with 449 followers. Containing unique header, background and icon graphics. https://twitter.com/football_rants

    109 real comments.

All natural traffic. I have uploaded some details. Traffic comes from Google mostly or direct type-ins. A small amount of traffic comes from the Adwords advertising I paid for. I have paid for no other advertising and this is what the site needs really - a real push on the advertising front. It should be submitted to Google news and some SEO should take place, among other standard advertising avenues. On the basis of the past 6 months average uniques per month: 876. Average pageviews: 3097.

Revenue. The latest revenue the site received was £200 (approx $300) when a large betting company contacted me and asked to place a banner on the site for 3 months (until the end of the year). You can see these ads on the site. Other revenue includes $100 when another large betting company contacted me and asked to me to link to them in an article, which I did so here: www.footballrants.com/england/premier-league/who-to-back-to-be-top-goalscorer-in-the-2013-14-premier-league-season/1573. Both companies said they may be back in future for additional advertising.

I should clarify. The paid for banners expire 18th November (so this is when they can be removed). They paid for 90 days. Whether the company will want to renew I do not know. They said they will first pay for ads on a short-term basis to see how much benefit they get from the ads. £200 converts to $323.

The company that paid $100 for the text links in an article also said they may be back at a later date for further links.

I know your BIN is $2000 but there is no way I can afford this price so what's the lowest you're willing to let go? Or rather what's your reserve price?
    Please let me know.
I'm very interested in this site and I'm confident I can bring it to another level.

4 more articles added by the voluntary contributors since my original post.

BIN set at $2000. I have already received one XXXX offer which meets the reserve. Sale ends Sunday.

Why not post what the reserve is and then people can make a decision on what to bid?
