I am just starting a new Football Blog and i am after photos i can use for each of the articles and am struggling to find pictures i can use with each story. Any suggestions welcome. Gregg
Hi Gregg, It can get difficult to locate photos that you can use without any fear of being sued. Wikimedia Commons has a handful of pics of players that you can use. You can also use Flickr's advance search option to look for creative commons licensed content. Other than the two options above, the only other way out is to probably contact individual photographers and photo sites for permission to use.
Try to ask via mail to put photos on your blog...but write em that you will put a source or something like this...

Yeah. Some pics with a creative commons still require you to credit the author. You can see the full terms on the picture page.
