A couple weeks ago I was singing the praises of YPN with its vastly higher RPC versus AdSense. Things have taken a turn. In the last 6 days my RPC has been $0.29, $0.28, $0.25, $0.23, $0.18, $0.15. The trend is steeply down. If this keeps up, by this time next week I'll be paying them.

Of course, I'm still getting 3X the RPC versus AdSense.

It was bound to happen sometime. What I think will happen is Yahoo will keep lowering their payouts and everyone will go back to
Adsense and Yahoo will be forced to jack up the payouts again. That's just what I think will happen.

Heres a bit of a post I made this morning "My ypn RPC has dropped about 20 cents lower then last month, it is incredible but I am now making slightly more with AdSense then I do with YPN on some sites."

ive read in another thread (and i agree) that the summer months just arent as strong as winter/holiday months.

not just from a web traffic standpoint but froma sales, etc standpoint. its quite possible that advertisers reduce their ad campaign budgets during these months because they get fewer sales/conversions...

hang tight til sept and see if things get better
