Hi dp designers, Please see the guidelines below for the logo contest... The name of the business is: https://translate.google.com/?sl=auto&tl=ja&text=red lantern&op=translate It's flagship products will be fried noodles and siumai / shumai ... the brand is japanese-inspired. Here are some ideas, feel free to experiment with your own ideas/concepts: - Japanese, oriental, asian - it can be a text logo only - it can be a text logo with japanese red lantern Colors >> feel free to use 1, or two or mix them all up if you like: - Black, Red, Yellow, White - we are thinking that the background be black and text white or red ... but then again, feel free to experiment with your ideas, we might like it If you are going for a text logo only, you can use the following text placement variations below ... again, you are not limited with what I have outlined here ... and to note, you can always incorporate the red lantern as it is what the japanese name translate to in english. note: you can also include the kanji/japanese characters of the name if you want Thank you very much!
Thanks! The feedback I got was the vibe it's giving is more Chinese than Japanese. I'm not sure if it's the way the colors were used or the font used in the Kanji. And also the red lantern used is Chinese. This is the Japanese red lantern we're referring to: Feel free to experiment with black background. ----- edit: I just want to add that I totally missed that what you did with the letter o. That's cool!
Not what we're looking for, but definitely better than the first one. We think it's a bit too plain and lacks depth and impact. Are you still able to come up with more concepts? Only if you can feel free to submit more. It looks nice overall. The cohesiveness is there. I just think that it's a bit chaotic and complicated as a logo to have both the lantern and the o with the chopsticks at the same time -- at least with this entry. Not really sure how I'd revise this one to be honest. edit: Got more feedback, one of us said that it lacks the food vibe. I kind of get what she meant for some reason. She said it could be the font face -- not sure if I agree with this one. --------- @all We also want to see entries utilizing the Kanji characters using paintbrush style font face. We are also curious to see entries that looks a bit traditional and not modernistic.
Winner! We can't ask for more. This is perfect! (money sent) Thank y'all for participating, but I won't be able to provide any more feedback. Really appreciate all of your entries! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
