My kitty walked across a laptop awhile ago and messed up the font size and I don't know how to re-size the fonts. See attachment. Thanks
First attachment is what the turn off computer screen is. The second is how the turn off computer should be.
right click, then personalize, then on bottom right you will find display. click on it and make sure you are on default size
if you are still having this problem, check here: To open the Accessibility Wizard, follow these steps: Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Accessibility, and then click Accessibility Wizard. When the wizard starts, click Next to start setting accessibility options. Use the wizard options that apply to features for users with low vision. The following three options are displayed on the Text size options screen: Use usual size text for Windows: This option makes no changes to the standard Windows appearance scheme. Use large window titles and menus: This option is the same as selecting the High Contrast option in the Accessibility program in Control Panel.
If you haven't fixed the problem yet, try going to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ and deleting the file FNTCACHE.DAT. Afterwards reboot your computer. This will reset the Windows font cache and probably fix your problem. A corrupted font cache is often the cause for such problems.
would love to know if this is fixed and what the fix was ... it is a setting that was accidentally turned on by some keystrokes , not a corrupted font cache is my guess. and a system restore seems like a major move for this issue
