Font size for article

I have a site with articles, some of theme are long articles and I want to have a good font size for a good reading. Personal 12px font size for me is to low so I chose arial 14 px.
What do you think it would be optimal font size for my site. (Does google prefer a specific font type or size?)

 

The best font size I prefer are 12 or 13px. Also do increase the line height to about 150 - 175%, it makes reading a lot easier.

 

I prefer 12 or 13 px font size. I find it to be the easiest to read.

 

12 is the standard size for font size. But you just have to realize when to bold words and when to italic them. And you have to consider that they should be readable by checking there spellings.

 

14 is bit bigger then normal. 13 or 12 is nice.

 

I use 12 or 13 for normal text.

 

This can obviously vary depending on which font you decide to use.
