@font-face V's sIFR

    pretty simple really, I have a client who wants non-web safe fonts on their site and I'm not sure which road to go down; @font-face or sIFR. Can anyone give me some pros and cons for each (esp. in terms of browser compatibility).

    as of now sIFR is the best way to go.

    @font-face is css3 which isnt supported by the current version of IE.

    sIFR embedds the font so its supported by all browsers.

    I thought IE had supported font-face for quite some time (strangely so for MS IE)

    Use Cufon instead of SIFR.
