From my previous thread which seemed to cause quite a stir concerning Images, which one of these would you choose?

There's a little too much height for me - I normally stick to 100px max height but the top image is the one I'd go for - bright, strong and not likely to 'offend' anyone.

i have to say I'm not digging the fade though.

Just a personal thing.

 

Definately the top one. Personally I don't like the black background. Might try a simply white. Less is always more.

 

I concur, the 1st one is less likely to stir the "wrong emotions" while keeping your general theme of the site. I do agree with JazzyBen and would suggest re-evaluating the fade. IMHO.

 

the fade from black isn't doing it for me.

definitely don't go with the 3rd... is it just me or does it look like the thing from alien dropping down on a plate of maggots?

I vote #1 - - and agree that the fading is kind of 'weird'.

 

#1 but the fade just looks hokey and overall it's just way too tall.
