    What are the best ways to get followers?
    People with high number of following does they follow back?

    try to reach whose following/follower ratio between 0.75 and 1.25 .. it is the best regardless the number of followers

    People with a lot of "followers" aren't as popular as you think. Some people use auto-follow tools based on keywords and I'd say that at least 1/2 of their "followers" haven't tweeted in months, read: inactive accounts.
