Great strategy and a proven method rolf. Why not take your initial profits and start to outsource the article writing? You could really amp it up that way. Eventually it's not going to be worth your time to do your own writing but nothing wrong with starting out that way.
Now that is a good idea. It is easier to use software to get those 30 articles done per day than to pound on a keyboard. Hey Rolf - what about it ? Goooood luck man !
I've found that outsourcing articles is very difficult as every writer I've ever hired has been nowhere near as good as me and I find myself wasting most of my time editing their articles into something readable. I'm sure it works wonders if you can actually find someone who writes decently and is willing to work cheap. But finding such a person is not easy.
Hey guys, My personal experience is that outsourced articles (for posting to article directories) are not worth it. I know of one guy who was making a living by getting articles outsourced for a buck each but I have no idea how he got such a cheap and sustainable source. Of course, articles for your own site, it is worth paying more but that is not my concern here. I actually enjoy writing articles for my site. I only outsource when I am completely out of my depth in a niche. For example, I am no good at writing articles for one of my poker sites and soon I will outsource this. raycer, good idea about reinvesting profits. I will probably do this for some other niches of mine. For these niches, I have very high standards of minimum quality so it is probably better for me to write myself. btw thanks for tip on using dictation software. Unfortunately my PC is very low spec. I have previously tried Dragon software and it could not cope. These programs are very RAM intensive. I have only 512 MB RAM! If this project goes well I might buy myself a brand new Dell laptop. btw only 12 articles done today. Total articles submitted to date = 31. Total income to date = $0.
20 articles done today. I think 30 a day is a peak but not a realistic average. I think 20 a day is doable. Otherwise parts of my body get sore from sitting here typing like nuts! Only 1 article approved so far. Total articles submitted to date = 51. Total income to date = $0.
I told you. 30 a day - that's crazy I mean you can do it, but like once a month, not every day... What's your niche?
Yes, I've done 30 before a few times. It was crazy expecting to be able to do 30 a day. Brain can't handle the monotony. Sorry I'd rather keep my niches private. If I reveal them then people will go looking for them and my traffic stats will not be accurate. Let's just say that I have diversified over several niches. I think this is a good idea anyway. An example. I am already in other Clickbank niches. For 2 of them I have put articles on EZA. For one niche, the long term traffic a few months later is maybe 1 hit per day. For the other niche, I get a solid 20-30 hits per day. Strange but true. By going for several niches I should be able to iron out the extremes and get closer to an average.
I would concentrate on one niche. Make sure that is already profitable and that you have the solution to their "problem" and that your visitors have money. Choosing a "How to get your old VW to work again" niche is going to be seen by people that dont have much money.
Hi, I already have 2 sites/niches for which this strategy is already working. One earns more money than another. So for my new project I choose not to limit myself to a single niche, I could be using a poor responding niche to article traffic and SEO traffic for all I know (e.g. niche is best for PPC). Only live testing will prove the profitability of the niche. I'd rather try 3 niches and drop 2 of them later than put all my eggs into one basket and hope for the best. To some degree, any CB niche with multiple products of not bad gravity are already profitable anyway. Regardless, I could be proved wrong and not only I but we all learn something, hence the live experiment here.
No, no. Rolf is right. Diversification is very important. It's better to have several articles in various niches rather than all in one place...
Yeah I'm not hiding secrets. The niches I am in all have several CB products so they're not exactly unexploited. I just don't want to skew the traffic results because at the end of the experiment I will show total no. of UVs so we can calculate $ per UV.
who cares what niche this person is playing? Honestly, do you think that the perfect niche will make you money?
Okay.. you already have one or two things you have done that are bringing in a little "help" for you. Good ! I will try to keep up with this thread and see how your "shotgun" method works. You chose a high amount of articles to write per day... if you have an income from your other sites, you could use part of that to outsource articles. You could perhaps outsource half of them and do the other half yourself. This would free you up some. I wonder how detailed you are going to get with your information here ? Will you be writing about your income also ? Good luck again and a Happy New Year to you.
Hey Blue Star, happy new year to you too. Yes I will be posting income. I'll be posting: no. of articles submitted income total traffic
Submitting your website to hundreds of article directories may get your site banned right away from Google trust me. Submitting only to EZA should be done the smart way. Deep Keyword Research is needed.
A strangely unproductive day. Only 10 articles submitted. Have had a couple of rejections from EZA. Nothing wrong with the articles, it's just the stupidity of some of the article approvers. At least its only 2. Most of the articles are starting to get approved now. I would expect to make a few sales in the next few days. Most sales seem to happen overnight (UK time) corresponding to Americans returning home and getting onto the internet. Total articles submitted to date = 61. Total income to date = $0.
