Follow links but don't index the page

    Hello,

    There are some pages on my sites that I don't want search engines to index them, but still I want SE's to give credit to links on those pages. So would it be wise to use the following in the head of the pages I don't want to be indexed but I do want SE's to give some credit to links on them:
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, FOLLOW">

    If I use the above tag in the head of a page, it will not be indexed by SE's. SE's will "follow" links on that page. But the question now is: will SE's give credit to links on that page the same way as if it was indexed? Will a SE (mainly I mean Google) give credit to links on a page that is not in that SE's index?
