    Hi

I'v got a Acer Aspire 5100 laptop with windows vista running on it. On the laptop it has a Fn key which as you may know allows me the use shortcuts on the keyboard I.E. if i hold Fn and press F8, it mutes my sound.

Now what i want to know, is there a way to change what the button does, i have a button that changes my music tracks back and forward but only works in windows media player i want to use it with iTunes or VLC player is there anyway i can do this?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Yes you can use your multimedia keys in other players, i know for sure that you can in WinAmp, not sure about itunes and VLC, but as far as WinAmp you have to go into the preferences and enable the media keys feature, i assume it is the same in other applications as well.
