The first day I got $91 fm that blog with NORMAL CTR, then the next day I got $1.26 with extremely high CTR, which made me think of invalid clicks had happendd Today I have now removed all Adsense ads on that particular blog, yet I placed that very same adsense code on another blog with similar theme, which gives me $0.1 (normal rate) today earlier. What do you think has happened here?
yes, let's hope that google won't disabled your account.. although google don't really give a damn to us, the publishers.. my friend got his account banned when there is a consistent increase in his site earnings and the CTR is high, and the worst part is he is using WH methods! google sucks sometimes..
You have done the right thing in reporting it to Google but keep on the case and email daily until resolved. Best of luck.
It's a non-English forum where most members don't know much about AdSense. I even post my threads there using one of Asian languages.
You have done all the important things removed adsense code, mailed to adsense support. Hope your A/c would be there for long. please update with this thread
@webmaster1189: Yes, I've done that. @jillhandley: I've also emailed Google through adsense-support@google.com (but I've got auto responder, saying that I should use the form, which I have) and adsense-id@google.com which I still have no response till now. But I've learned from Google help forum that there are so many people having similar problems as me don't get proper or no response at all from Google, though they have reported their issue, including when they appeal which gives them no response at all. The situation was much better back in 2007 or 2008 when it was still possibe to contact the G staff directly. @sherone & @nowimhere: Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it. Another thing, as I've mentioned earlier, I have removed all AdSense codes in that particular blog. Yesterday I placed that codes in another similar blog which is NOT infected by the click bomb. And it's working normally with normal CTR. I'm doing that trying to lower the overall CTR of that infected blog. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing here...
Hello... Seem to be happening alot ... http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/5413.htm Probably a competiter using software or manually and he really hates you something bad lol good luck as youve done all you can... thx malcolm
However that that particular blog which was infected by click bomb is a blogspot and I never integrate it with Google analytics, and I only have histats on it for statistics. My question is: How do I know traffic logs which can show me my the visitors' IP addresses, referrers, etc BEFORE I install any tools on it? I'll need this info when I have to appeal... Thank you so much for any support you all give me in this forum.
Finally google disabled my account today! So why the heck did I report the click fraud then if that was NO ANY USE AT ALL??? And why I never get any email fm google about it? I just found notice like "your account was temporarily disabled because of violation of Google TOS..." And I can't even access my blogger account... but I still see my adsense ads are still there... My question is: Have I really been banned fm google???
You're probably seeing public service ads on your blog now. If you hate google...remove them, but if you want to do community service you can keep them on your blog, but you won't get paid. I noticed that you mentioned 'temporary'. You've got a chance to redeem yourself(and save your adsense account in the process). Try contacting Google and explain everything to them, maybe they'll hear you out.
No, I don't see any Public service ads. I still see the regular, normal ads. I just can't login to my adsense. it says temporarily disabled
Google didn't know that those clicks were fraudulent yet, when they know, they will ban account instead cut-off the earning, unless you report. @OP, I hope everything is okay now.
Thats pretty much fine if you have already reported and explained your situation to google. Aside that, its always handy to use analytics to handle these kind of situations, and block particular IP addresses.
