Fm $2 to $91 in ONE day, & now I'm SCARED:-(

    Hello, I'm a newbie and I've just been using AdSense for 1 year now. I've got a problem that makes me really really worried :eek:...Here's my problem:

    I always promote my blogs and sites using forums and I usually earn around $1 to $5 per day.

    Yesterday I changed room (category) in the forum I always use. Suddenly I got $91 in ONE day, with around 7500 page impressions, 800 clicks and 11% CTR approximately. Again, all happened in just ONE day. The problem is when I checked my latest earning today, something strange happens:

    page impression = 145
    clicks = 187
    CTR = 129%
    Earnings = $1.26

    Judging from the high CTR and extremely low earning compared to the numbers of clicks that I've got, What do you think has happened here? What I'm really scared of is that someone has either used software or manually clicked my AdSense repeatedly.

    What should I do now? If you think I should contact any Google employees, do you have the email that I could contact?

    I'm terribly worried now... Please kindly help me... thank you so much for any valuable answers provided.

    You have been clickbombed. Send an email to Google explaining the situation.

    Strange. If clicks were fraudulent then Google does not give earnings. But you are earning very good.

    Also immediately ask for check you never know what's in store tomorrow.

    @earticles: Yes, I've just reported my situation to google through the link you provided. Thank you so much for your advice. I hope I've done the correct thing... and I have removed all the Google AdSense in that particular blog as well.

    @sahandy: No, unfortunately I don't use google analytics here. I just see my AdSense report and it's enough to scare me to death:-( But I guess the majority of the visitors came from a particular category of the forum I've used to promote my site. I mean, I've been using this forum for a year (in category/room A), and so far I've found no problem promoting my blogs there, until that day when I changed to category/room B suddenly tons of people visited my blog.

    @ahmedsotile: it makes me worried to death...

    @Jontish: Yes,I've reported my situation to Google.

    @Mr. Gill: The first minute I promoted my blog in that particular forum, I've got tons of visits (more than 7,000 with NORMAL CTR) in ONE day. Then the next day, the clicks were still hundreds (but less than the first day) but extremely high CTR, and I've also noticed that Google gives me very little earnings from that particular site (AROUND $0.01/CLICK). There I noticed something is terribly wrong here...

    @sahandy: yes, I've removed all Google AdSense ads in that particular blog of mine.

    @webster: do you think I'll be just fine if Google knows that I've done nothing wrong here and I've removed my adsense? I'm really worried...

    Google do not give $$$ for fraud clicks anyway you have to protect your account first and then you research using google analytics.
    There are millions of blogs using adsense its really strange that you got such problem.

    Since you have done all steps necessary to report the clickbomb, don't worry Google will not cancel your Adsense accout. Clickbomb is something terrible indeed.

    @Dendy Young: I hope you're right. Anyway, my friend's friend also experienced the same thing and though he reported to Google about his issue, his account was disabled within a few days:-( I really don't understand why his account was disabled though he'd reported to Google immediately.

    @earticles: Sure, I will let u know how's my progress going on. I'm really scared and frustrated now. Does anyone have any Google employee's email? I've also sent email to adsense-id@google.com and adsense-support@google.com just to make sure that any Google employee will take care of my problem immediately.

    Emailing an employee directly won't help you. Direct all questions/issues to AS support and make sure you save all emails (both sent and received), with headers included, for further reference. If your account gets banned, these logs will help you with the appeal.

    Keep us posted!
