If I were to put my advertisement in people's letter box, will it work well. Any tried? Let us know the results. Thanks!
Actually, that depends on your product, and how interesting you presented it. What people usually look for when they see ads in their mail box are discounts, sale notices, etc. So might as well get inspiration from that. However, make your flyer design and offer uniquely creative, value and interesting - that could be an effective way to use traditional advertising to invite customers.
Did a flyer mail out a few years ago it cost a ton of money for printing & delivery - got one phone call, no sales. I would much prefer allocating that money to online advertising such as targeted paid facebook ads.
I find that flyer sales are best for restaurants and grocery stores. Coupons for discounts on food. People keep those kinds of flyers around. But much of the rest of it is viewed as junk mail. I personally view flyers as junk mail. I never even look at them. I throw them out.
In addition, the advertisement must contain unique offer from your product or services in which provides different benefits to the users.
This is old school in advertising. And here there are many nuances. It is rather difficult to calculate the efficiency from the distribution of leaflets in advance. Efficiency ranges from 0.1 to 10%. It is worth noting that here the main factor is not the demand for a product or service, but also many others: the activity of promoters, the volume of distributed leaflets, the correctness of the chosen place and target audience, and design.
