FLV video too long to edit properly

I am stumped with a problem:

I have a .flv video that is 3 hours, 33 minutes and 6 seconds. I can only edit the video up until 1 hour, 18 minutes.

I want to be able to edit beyond the 1:18:00 mark but cannot figure a way.

I am using Moyea FLV Editor Lite v 1.1.1.846.

I have tried "cutting" the first half of the video hoping that it would make 2 videos of 1:18:00, but it disregards all information beyond 1:18:00.

Thank you in advance. Any information is appreciated.

A video Editor is what you want.
It is an one which can just do what you need.

Use Adobe Premier for such purposes. It can be a little bit complicated from the first sight, but will always provide you with good result (much depends on you, of course, but the program itself is responsible).

    Hi,

if you are going for a freeware approach, I suggest you first download the Super converter, change it into AVI/WMV, and edit it in Windows Movie Maker, this is the most low-tech solution I can see - and free too...

Sorry, but Windows Movie Maker is not only low tech and free solution, it's a solution to kill yourself while waiting, while it uploads/downloads/cuts and then saves the new vid. I once had been waiting for 3 hours while movie maker was saving my new vid. It's horrible!
