Flv edit question

Hello,

I have a flv video file, and i want to edit that video and put a banner to start/end of the video.

So when someone clicks the banner at the video, site will open in a new window.

How can i do it?

 

I think this would have to be a modification to an FLV player rather than a FLV video, to my knowledge, FLV videos themselves aren't dynamic.

 

so is there any documentation about adding advertisement to flv players?

 

I'm pretty sure you'd have to convert the FLV into another file format, add the advertisement, then convert back to FLV, although there will probably be a heavy loss of video quality. You can use programs like Zillatube to convert FLV to MPG.

 

how can i add banners to mpg files? Plus will it be clickable if i change it to mpg? or will it stay clickable if i convert it back to flv?

 

Nothing would be clickable or perform any action - only a SWF (Flash animation) file can be.
