Hello everyone ️ I am considering buying a soft fluffy bed for my dog where it can sleep and just relax instead of her always laying on my couch especially when i have friends around. A friend recommended these ones sold online https://durablepetcare.com/products/plush-fluffy-cat-bed but I am not sure if I should go for the bigger sizes for my dog and cat to both share hopefully or just get separate ones for each of them. Anyone use these previously and have experience with two or more pets in the house? Thanks!.
Even if they get along quite well, each of them will appreciate having their own separate refuge, so I recommend getting each of them their own bed. And, note that the cat might some times choose to sleep in the dog's bed, so if the cat's bed is too small, the dog may be out of luck or forced to try to remove the cat from its bed. Might be best to get two dog-sized beds, one for each.
yeah thanks for that. They get along quite well on the good days but sometimes i have to get in the midst. its a bit pricey having to get two of same quality and also of a reasonable size. I guess i'd just get one for the dog and let the cat lay on my laps. see how that works out
Those donut beds stretch somewhat. They should be ok in the same bed. The truth is cats can sleep anywhere. Good, reasonable prices, but a 2-3 week delivery would be way too long for me. I'd get one on Amazon and have it here in 4-5 days.
Buy local! I'm guessing that .com site isn't in the UK. FWIW our dog was probably 9 when we realised he'd stopped insisting on laps and started sleeping on the floor. If we were dog sitting he'd steal the visitor's bed.
Boy, is that ever true. Local small businesses need our business more than I ever. I second @sarahk !
yeah good that they stretch then. the ones i saw on amazon are a bit pricey so its just a trade off between how much it cost and how long it d take for delivery. may not really matter much if they both get it from the same place.
Yeah you did. Seems to me that both pets are in some type of mutual pact to swap their beds. Looks too good to be true in my opinion
