fluctuation in rankings

hello friends

my site ranking fluctuating dramatically one day it is on first page for particular keyword and other day it is on second or third page and after some time it will appears at original position.

can anybody tell me why my rankings are fluctuating like this ?

and I also want to know that Is there any major update from the Google in last couple of month ?

please give me some ideas regarding this thing.

update i don't know, there has just been an PR update by google. The fluctuation is normal. i assume you have a new site? Then it can be a while till it stabilizes, just make backlinks and you will be fine.

 

Fluctuating is normal. It happens as you have a similar google ranking for some keywords with you competitors. Keep building links to get to a more stable position.

 

Google claims to be constantly making minor tweaks to their ranking algorithm. I don't think this is why your rankings are fluctuating so much though.

Your website is quite new and probably doesn't have enough quality incoming links. Your rankings won't very stable until you build more quality links. Diet pills is probably a fairly competitive market though. So it might take some time to build up your rankings. Don't rush things though or you could end up getting penalized.

Another thing that sometimes causes rankings to fluctuate is the fact that Google has multiple data centers. When you search you might be accessing results from different data centers.

 

The fluctuations in Keyword position in SERP are common. It is depends on many strategies.

can anybody tell me about Google update in last couple of month?

 

We have had client sites go down to page 15-20 then reappear on page 1. It will probably come back it get irritating I know that.

Also have you been building a lot of links into the site here lately? generally sites move up and down when it has a lot of link activity going on?

 

I think Google is trying to make the best possible results for us, but some result are stable they are not Fluctuate
for stable ranking we need regular work on site like Social book marking blog commenting etc.
