Fluctuation in keyword position

    Hi friends,

    For one of my website there is fluctuation in keyword positions in regular period of time, and that too the fluctuation is not for all keywords only for some major keywords, for which i used to get aroung 150 visitors per week. If its ranking in 1st page of google for this week, within 2 weeks it is not found in first 50 rankings and this problem is repeatedly happening, every two weeks it drops from its position and regain it back.

    What would be the problem, really i couldn't able to judge and i even checked with my website, its error free.

    Hope DP members can help me out with this problem.

    Ok,

    So Basically, you are facing problem that Fluctuation in Keyword position, so I want to suggest you that Go through some power full back links to maintain On present keyword position, So due to that keyword will get boost up for those keywords instead of dropping position.

    Hi,
    If you positive that your website is clean, start to spying your competitors.
    When you're disappear from page 1, take a look to all websites that sitting in page 1 of Google SERP, especially the number 1 position.
    Investigate it's SEO profiles, and so on.
    When you're in 1st position, take a look to all 9 competitor below you, especially the one that took your place previously. Is it below you directly or also disappear from page 1 of SERP.
    After that you know the drill; make sure that your SEO profile is better than all your competitor in page 1 of SERP for your keyword.

    It depends on user which search the keywords.keyword search by more user get high position.so keywords position fluctuate.

    I have just happened to answer something similar! Anyways, if you found your keyword position differs then the only basic reason is that Google finds other links to be more relevant than yours with your competitors being better working on those keywords! Also sometimes the change in the position can be for a short period of time and you may have your site listing again in the top position! This can be due to the normal filtration by Google! Whatever be the situation have patience and be persistent!
