Hi DP Friends/Buddies, Floyd Arthur here, I'd like to ask what works for you best on keyword research. I know that there are so many SEO specialist/enthusiast here that is why I'm asking for more ideas and tools. I'm using keyword planner of Google and SERPAttacks. What else are your keyword researching tool and how's the effectiveness of it? Also, how do you know if the keyword is really of low competition? Thanks! Floyd Arthur
Why are you referring to yourself in third person? In terms of determining competition for certain keywords, look at the first page of the search results, to see what you're up against. You never try and rank for the best keywords straight away, you won't get the results you're looking for and it will kill motivation. Instead, you try and rank for lesser keywords in the same niche. This will help you to build up some authority, and in time you can eventually compete with the big boys in your niche.
I am using Google adwords keyword tool to determine best keywords. But it's not the only way to do keyword research. You should do competitor analysis to find out what keywords they are using. You can use Semrush for that.
Because Floyd Arthur isn't him? He might be a real person but he's either in the Philippines and not New York as claimed, or the guy posting is Floyd's employee? Linked in uses the same photo https://www.linkedin.com/in/floydarthurbusinessdevelopment and links to the same websites so it may be that this guy is legit, but the posts coming from a different country and ESL style of writing spooks me.
